Education

We staff and administer a range of schools and education facilities.

​K-12 Schools
Classes are held daily for the students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in both Swahili and English. Some students transfer to the Vocational Training School after they have completed the 12th grade.

St. Scholastica Nursery and Primary School at Ukonga Dar es Salaam
Started in 2008. The total number of students is 680. The motto of the School: “One School. One Family. New Vision. New Generation.”

St. Agnes Chipole Primary School
In the year 2019 the number of  students was 256.  Classes are held in Swahili and English. The primary students study for seven years.

St. Agnes Secondary School
Our Secondary School prepares young women for advanced studies and/or skills for self-sufficiency and independent living. The girls can start in the year following the year they finish primary school. The classes are taught in English except for Swahili language lessons. The period of study is four years. Then the National examinations are taken: passing the examination allows the children to go on to High School

Vocational Training School
Students are taught carpentry, electrical technician and tailoring. Students work alongside their instructor. Our vocational training features tailoring, shoe making, electrical engineering, mechanics, carpentry, and plumbing for both boys and girls.
