We engage in collaborative services with others in the region to provide a wide variety of services through our Development Programs. The outreach programs are intended to support the surrounding community as well as our own students. Busy hands help build and repair which brings about self-esteem and happiness to one’s soul.
Examples of current programmes:
- Ongoing computer literacy training by outside volunteers
- Primary School, Elfumbili
- Church Building, Elfumbili
- Church Building, Mbipeta
- New accommodation facilities in Chipole, under construction since 2013.
Thanks to the presence from the Benedictine Sisters in Tulila and foreign donators we were able to build a new Primary School in the local village of Elfumbili to further support the development of the rural areas. The school already has around 100 students and 5 teachers and is now run by the Government. Also thanks to donations in 2021, a new Church was built in Elfumbili and construction for a new Church in the neighbouring village of Mbipeta is ongoing.
