The convent runs a well kept hostel with 16 rooms in Mbamba Bay (St. Bernadeta Sisters Hostel Mbamba Bay). The hostel is close to town and offers a great view over the bay and Lake Nyasa. Prices for a room start from around TZS 20 000.00 per night including breakfast. Guests are also welcome to enjoy lunch and dinner in the hostel, prepared by the Sisters. Prices per plate and person are around TZS 5 000.00.
