Since our earliest days, we have placed many of our Sisters in Health Care services. We fulfil a great need as we have the only health care facility for eight villages in the Chipole area. Our Sister physicians, nurses, pharmacists treat all common tropical diseases.
We operate dispensaries in the following locations:
- Chipole
- Dar es Salaam
- Matogoro (Songea).
These provide clinic services to local people and are fully integrated into the Tanzanian National Health System, so that insurance card holders can receive the necessary medicines free of charge.
The Dispensary of Kitunda (Chipole)
The dispensary in Chipole was founded by the sisters of St. Agnes Chipole in 2011. At the dispensary, essential drugs and medicine are offered to people who not have access to them otherwise and hence is really life-saving. The Dispensary in Chipole is supported by an Italian gentleman in honour of his son Fabio Falchetti.
